After four years of collaborative research and innovation, the OHPERA project has reached its final stage with two key events held in Valencia: the “Final Clustering Workshop” and the “Final General Assembly”, both hosted by LOMARTOV.

Held on 24–25 February 2026, the events brought together researchers, industry representatives, policymakers and consortium partners to showcase the project’s main achievements and coordinate the final activities before its completion. Together, they provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress made and discuss how OHPERA’s innovations can support Europe’s clean energy transition through real-world applications.

The Final Clustering Workshop, entitled “From Novel Materials to Solar Hydrogen Futures: Scaling Up Circular Innovation in Europe”, promoted knowledge exchange among European initiatives working on green hydrogen, advanced materials and circular innovation. Throughout the day, participants explored the challenges and opportunities involved in bringing next-generation solar hydrogen technologies closer to industrial deployment.

The following day, consortium partners gathered for the “Final General Assembly”, where they reviewed progress across all Work Packages, assessed the latest technical achievements and coordinated the remaining activities required to successfully conclude the project. Discussions also focused on final technology validation and preparations for the project’s closing reporting phase

As both a consortium partner and host of these final events, LOMARTOV has actively contributed to the project’s communication, dissemination and exploitation activities, supporting the visibility of its results and fostering collaboration across Europe’s research and innovation ecosystem.

OHPERA has developed advanced photoelectrochemical technologies designed to produce green hydrogen using solar energy while enabling more sustainable chemical processes. Its outcomes are expected to contribute to future research, technology transfer and the wider deployment of innovative clean energy solutions across Europe.

LOMARTOV would like to thank all consortium partners for their commitment, collaboration and shared efforts throughout these four years, which have made OHPERA a valuable contribution to Europe’s transition towards a more sustainable future.
