At LOMARTOV, we are committed to disseminating cutting-edge innovations and facilitating knowledge exchange across the EU, and our recent role in co-organising the SCENARIOS Project workshop is a testament to that.
Earlier this September, the two-day workshop, titled “PFAS Remediation in Action: Sustainable Solutions and Acceptance Conditions,” was held in Skaelskor, Denmark. Co-organised by LOMARTOV alongside Geo and Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale, this event was an exceptional opportunity to share the latest advancements in PFAS monitoring, removal, and destruction techniques.
The workshop brought together a diverse audience, including producers, remediation experts, policymakers, and industry leaders. Over two days, participants delved into two key topics:
- Discussing practical strategies for PFAS remediation and destruction: How can we apply advanced technologies to remove PFAS from the environment efficiently?
- Unlocking conditions for the adoption of PFAS solutions: What factors must be addressed to ensure these solutions are widely accepted and integrated into industries?
We at LOMARTOV were proud to lead the second session of the workshop, titled “Unlocking Acceptance: Facilitating Conditions for PFAS Detection and Remediation Solutions Adoption.” This crucial session, moderated by our senior EU project manager Mihaela Mirea Candea, fostered discussions on:
- Reducing PFAS emissions
- Integrating PFAS solutions into a circular economy
- Navigating market challenges
- Understanding industry needs
- Regulatory mechanisms
These conversations are vital in ensuring the widespread adoption of PFAS remediation solutions, and LOMARTOV is proud to be at the forefront, offering our expertise to support both EU projects and private companies seeking to advance in the field of sustainability.
